Paul and the author of Hebrews explain how some believers are not ready for the "solid food" that contains a deeper and richer understanding of God, but they are still like infants who are satisfied with "milk" (1 Corinthians 3:2, Hebrews 5:12-13, NASB).
Our spiritual journeys are encumbered by a Christian generation who increasingly teaches new believers to be satisfied with the milk they receive. Although we are encourage to always love Christ as in the beginning, without reservation and with joy, we are not meant to keep our childish understanding of Him but to renew our minds to the effect of demonstrating God's will (Romans 12:2).
For believers who are desperately seeking mentors, resources, and organizations who facilitate the "solid food" of God, I recommend the following.

In 2008, Paul Ponsler and I (pictured above) had the privilege of building a church in Ica, Peru, brick by brick. In a similar way, adding truly biblical resources can help build up a house of reasonable faith in God. There was not any single brick that made a difference in building the church, but many bricks working together formed a visible attraction to the whole village. Just maybe, digging deeper into Godly resources with a humble heart will make the light of Christ visible to those in your life.
